What a spectacular time in Vancouver we had! Here are our two teams. Team Shock (Mel Cruikshank not pictured) and Team Awe. We worked with The Open House, The Bridge, and The Point churches. It was a time of not only serving our brothers and sisters in Vancouver but also of allowing God to work in our individual hearts. Alberta Student Winter Retreat

Well here we all are! Carla, Josh, Immanuel, Anita, Gerard, Tobi, Tracy and Sandra. What a great time we had in Cochrane. I've posted other pics from the weekend so feel free to comment on them or on what you feel like you learned. My personal fave photo is chocolate milk - that's all I have to say! Josh and I had a great time with you guys. You are a wonderful group of students and we look forward to more fun trips like this one!

We did a lot of both of these things this weekend. Josh and Gerard played a little Madden and NBA Live while we all ate more than our fair shares! The food was great. That's one thing I love about student retreats- always good food hanging around!

Though it was a small meeting, what a priviledge it was to be invited into the presence of God. Gerard is a transparent worship leader who is most concerned with honest worship while leading. It's obviously not a performance for him. We were blessed with God's light and love during this night of humbling ourselves before Him in prayer.
